In an interesting activity, the Noida Metro Rail Company (NMRC) has chosen to change over Water Line's Division 50 metro station into a 'She-Man' station, to advance transgender rights.
Authorities from the NMRC have said that extraordinary offices and work to individuals from the transgender network will be given at the station.
This will be done to associate the transgender network to the standard society and make the ordinary citizens progressively touchy towards individuals from the network.
According to Evaluation 2011, there are 4.9 lakh transgenders in India out of which around 30,000 to 40,000 remain in the NCR.
The move will be a significant advance in giving important incorporation and interest of the transgender network.
The naming of the station will bring issues to light and affectability, the authority said in an announcement.
President Noida Authority revealed to India Today, "The executives at the station will be sharpened and prepared with respect to issues concerning the network. The station will have open presentation signs and declarations will likewise be made mindfulness among travelers. Noida Metro Rail Organization intends to incorporate individuals from the transgender network at ticket counters and different zones of the station."
The Water Line was begun in January 2019 and comprises of 21 metro stations from Segment 52 in Noida to Terminal metro station in More prominent Noida. It was initiated by Boss Pastor of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath.
