Two SOG jawans killed in battle with Maoists in Odisha.
Bhubaneswar: Two SOG jawans were killed in a trade of slugs between security powers and the Maoists in a woodland close Sirki town on the Kalahandi-Kandhamal verge on Wednesday.
The expired have been recognized as Sudhir Kumar Tudu (28) from Mayurbhanj area and Debasis Sethy (27) from Angul region.
Following up on a clue, a hunt activity was dispatched on Kalahandi-Kandhamal verge on September 8.
On the appearance of the police group, the Maoists started shooting and the security powers also fought back in self-preservation following which five Maoists were murdered. Four groups of the Maoists were additionally recouped from the spot.
